Hi It still puzzles me,I read an article in An Old Plymouth Bulletin on the 1969 Plymouth Fury. And it stated that the Low/Economy 69 Fury 2 Door(post) Coupe or Sedan could be equipped with Rear Flip-out Wing-Windows.I have yet to see anything like these.I own 4 69 Fury 2 Door(post) Coupes/Sedans & none of them came like that(all are roll-down windows) I seen one Police Car(69 Fury 2 Dr Coupe) with Stationary rear windows(no crank). Can anyone tell me for sure if these actually exist?? If so,I would LOVE to get a set for my latest edition 69 Fury I 2 Dr Sedan Slant/6 with Three on the Tree. They must be similiar to the Duster Rear Windows?? All for now,Take Care Paul-SUPERCAR-Amato

An interesting question. In 1969 the low-budget Fury 2-doors were called "Coupes". This was the only 2-door body for the 1969 Fury I and II. They boasted "hardtop-style front door glass" and the B-pillar was quite upright. I think (not 100% sure) those all had roll-down quarter windows. So they were 2-door sedans but with doors without upper door frame. I haven't heard about pop-out windows for one of these. Plus, if you have roll-down quarter-windows, why would you want pop-outs instead?
In 1970 Plymouth changed designations and called those models "2-door sedans" (except for the paisly-patterned "Gran Coupe" - which had the same body). I guess that came closer to what people expected from this configuration. The arrangement was unchanged. So I guess in 1970, too, all 2-door sedans had roll-down quarter windows and no pop-outs.
In 1971 the term "coupe" was back for the Fury I (whereas the Fury II could be had as a 4-door or a real 2-door hardtop only). The B-pillar was now pretty slim and somewhat tilted forward. It was probably the same quarter window as on the 2-door hardtops, complete with chrome strip and rubber. However, it was fixed so you couldn't roll it down. If you could have, the car would have been a true 2-door hardtop. Perhaps pop-out windows were available, but I doubt it. They would have needed a solid B-pillar to be able to pivot outward. And to my understanding, that chrome strip wasn't a pillar.
Does someone have a 1969, 1970 or 1971 Plymouth Data Book out there to shed more light on this?
