Hi all, I just got a 1966 Plymouth Fury III. Now, A little bit about the car: I am the 3rd owner of this car Straight Body Original Paint Engine is out of it but came with it Interior is terrible Auto Tranny My dad has gotten a 440 for it and a 727 automatic tranny He has also gotten a disc brake conversion kit for it. We are in the process of finding new front fenders for it because these ones have some major wrinkles behind the headlights.
Now that you've seen it, I can tell you what I want to know. What he really wants are some high-back bucket seats for the front. Are there any models of C-body from that generation that even HAD high back bucket seats? And if so, Where would be a good place to look for them?
Thanks for your help and keep an eye on this thread as I will most likely be keeping it filled with fresh questions. !drive
Er, not to rain on your parade, but I am not entirely certain, from the pics provided, that the paint is original. Id be taking a much closer look at her, seems to me some ills were hidden away.
Looks like a good car to start with, '66 Sport fury had buckets, but not high back. Only high buckets I can think of are challenger/ roadrunner from 70-74. can't recall if the 68 b-bodies had them or not

@Justin If its not the original paint then its my bad for saying so. But, we had a bodyman that we know go all over it and he found nothing wrong, its a solid frame.
@Moparmnk Thanks for the guidance. I'm just going to have to find a sport fury with buckets for it then. And as a side note: did any of them have an option for a headrest? My Dad is really wanting at least some neck protection. [ Edited Tue Nov 02 2010, 11:11PM ]

Hi & !welcome Looks like a great project you've got there Only my opinion but ide be very carefull to not fit a seat that looks to modern or to small in width for that huge interior
