Clairify 300H. Are you talking about a 1962 Chrysler 300H or a 300 Hurst?
In either case FALSE!
The only C Body Hemi I know of is Butches car.. Come to think of it, that has Air too. [ Edited Sat Mar 17 2007, 10:08PM ]

There was rumored to have been 2 unique 1970 300 Hursts built....1 convertible and 1 Hemi. I have seen several of each made up, but have never seen the 2 so-called originals....after the work Butch had to do to get the Hemi in his Fury, I would doubt that Hurst or Chrysler would have tried it.

Salesmen have been misinformed since the Model T days most likely....
I went into a Dodge dealership in '89 and asked about the new Dakota Convertible pickups. The salesman said "there is no such thing", and led me over to a Shelby Dakota on the floor. I said sure there was and he stood his ground and said no. I walked over to the brochure bin, grabbed the Dakota handout, turned to the INSIDE COVER and pointed to the truck going down a beach with the top down! I went elsewhere to buy my Dak !thumb

This is true. I suppose he could have been wrong, but he did have a price sheet, order code and he owned the dealership. A lot of strange stuff happened back in those days.
