No matter what your opinion is of him and whether or not he cares about C body Chryslers, he is a major Mopar enthusiast and I hear he recently lost his wife to pancreatic cancer. My condolences go out to him and his family.

Definitely mixed impressions of Galen around the Mopar community, but the lose of a spouse is worthy of all our concern.

That was a couple of months ago. Like some said it might just explain why he's so behind on getting paperwork to people.

He's really a nice guy. I first met him in 91. He is passionate about the #'s on these cars. He never did me wrong & he's even called to ask me a question about a certain model cause he knew we had one. Even got roped into watching his booth at a show once for him so he could go check out a car.

He's just gotten so busy with all the new peoplein the game he can't keep up.

It was Friday be fore the mopar nats. I did sign a card from all of the vendors at the nats for him. You don't really need to feel to bad about him paying little attention to c-bodies because he looked at my dads hemi coronet and he paid about as much attention as I do to a Yugo!

Galen Joined our forum many months ago just to pay a compliment to one of our member's C bodys. I gave up his identity which caused 8 to remove him. I'm sorry I did that now and would like to apologize. My condolences also.

Greetings

Yup. I may not agree with everything he says, but he is a Mopar enthusiast and we should not forget that Mopar serves up a great alphabet of cars. My condolences on his loss.

I didn't remove Galen because he was Galen. I remember removing an account that appeared to be posing as Galen and when I asked them to confirm, they didn't respond. Galen is perfectly welcome here.

I met Galen a few times in the past.I remember telling him about Leo's '67 Newport (4 door, bucket seats console) and gave him a photocopy of the B sheet. He thanked me and explained that this confirms the wierd things Chrysler did back in the day.He is collecting info on C's since there is very little to go by on.Like everything else-it will take time to decipher through it.

3 years ago at Notman's Mopar Magic Show,he was a guest of honour. His pic of the show (surprise) an original untouched 69 Imperial Lebaron 2 door hardtop surivor. It had some "patina" quality to it.
In short he recognizes the C's but in his line of work,no data available to him unlike the other cars.It was mentioned a few times in the past all the C records were lost in a fire years ago.
He had a Q&A session inside the dealership and had few answers for the C guys that had questions.
At Last year's show, for some reason,he was not allowed to cross the border into Canada??? He was missed at the show.
Galen is in it as a business. He is passionate about Mopars, but he has a lot on his plate. He can be short with you or just have no time for you.At the show he had several people clammering around him like he was some kind of rock star.

Me,I'm in it for the hobby aspect.
Maybe I was one of the few lucky ones he actually had time to stop and shake hands and spend a minute or two to chat.
After that,I changed my "rock star" point of view of Galen. He is a personable guy under a lot of pressure. He may not even remember me.I'm fine with that..I can break down my own gumbers on my C's..

8?..Ever think why he did not reply?? Sheesh! The man is very busy!!
