Went to the Bendigo National Swapmeet last weekend. It's one of the biggest swaps in Victoria (Australia) and a pretty popular national one. As per usual very little CBody stuff .. usually just a few parts from Dodge Phoenixes which get rarer and rarer each year.

This year I was leaving (driving my '69 Javelin) and came up behind a '69 (or '70) Imperial 4-door hardtop at a roundabout. I threw an illegal U-turn and followed him. Unfortunately he drove into a paid carpark so I wasn't going to pay another $5 to pursue (and there was nowhere to park outside!), so I lost track of him.

I realise this thread is usless without pix, but it was a really cool car - maroon with black roof and the VERY cool hidden-headlight grille!! Only problem it was a real stocker, so 4x4 ride height and skinny tyres on original wheels.

Went pretty good too. My '69 Javelin is a stock 343 4BBL and he took off and left we behind on the original launch from the intersection.

I want a '69/'70 300 too!!

I know on the B bodies you can flip the rear leaf spring front mounts and drill out 2 holes which will lower a Mopar 2 1/2 inches. Then lower the torsion bars and re-align the front and voila! NASCAR stocker look ! Gotta see if this will work on a C...
