Greetings:

I know this isn't a C-body but the seller of this '79 Cordoba 300 says that he will use this car for a demolition derby if it doesn't sell. It really looks too nice to destroy and I don't think they made many of these Cordoba 300s. Sadly, I am not currently in a position to purchase it.

[cgi.ebay.com]

His "buy it now" seems a bit high but he does have the "make an offer"
option.

I have to admit that I really hate demolition derbys as they often destroy the last vestages of affordable (and desireable) '60's and '70's cars like C-body Mopars.

Thanks!

Andrew S.

It appears to be a nice car but if he feels the car is worth 4 grand he isn't going to demolition derby the car . I think $1,500. may be more of a realistic price .

Whats with the red stripes down the side ?

I hope so... I hate to see decent Mopars meet their end.

That stripe is unique. I guess the previous owner was a bit creative.

The lister did say he changed his mind about demoing the car.

I believe that this car shared it's platform with a limited edition Chrysler 300 that had a hurst shifter in it I am thinking that only 3000 of them were made.
However I don't have as much info on Chryslers as I do Dodges.

I know the lister.....didn't see the car but told him to sell it rather than demo it.....don't be too sure he won't destroy it!

It is too nice to derby, but some people will do it. I have 4 mopars right now sitting to be derbied, one of them is a 76 Newport with 43K original miles on it. I then have a 68 Newport, a 78 cordoba that I derbied this year and still has life in it and I just got a 2-door 77 Monaco.

Im always looking for C-bodies

If any of them were "driver" material, I would drive them. but none of them are. I will offer the parts I can't use to this site. I also have a 67 Dodge Coronet 2-door hardtop that I hope to restore.
